worship service schedule

St. James UMC has worship services in two styles over three services each Sunday morning. Our traditional style worship is held at 8:30 and 11:00 each week in the Sanctuary.
   our nontraditional worship service, is held on Sunday mornings at 9:45 in Carson Hall. Click on either style of worship to learn more about those services!

Nursery care is offered throughout Sunday morning for infants and children through age 3. Our nurseries are staffed both with paid staff and church member volunteers each week.

LENT: At 6:00 pm each Wednesday evening during Lent, all are invited to a 30-minute communion service in White Chapel. On Maundy Thursday, April 2, St. James will host our friends from Trinity Presbyterian Church for communion, and for Good Friday, our Music Department is preparing a special event.

An Alert to Gardeners: Comunity Garden Garden

Our first garden workday is scheduled for Saturday, April 18 beginning at 9:00 AM. Please come and be a part of this joint project with other faith communities along New Hope Road. Our produce helps feed the hungry in Wake County.
