St. James UMC has worship services in two styles over three services each Sunday morning. Our traditional style worship is held at 8:30 and 11:00 each week in the Sanctuary.
   our nontraditional worship service, is held on Sunday mornings at 9:45 in Carson Hall. Click on either style of worship to learn more about those services!

Nursery care is offered throughout Sunday morning for infants and children through age 3. Our nurseries are staffed both with paid staff and church member volunteers each week.

OUR BISHOP IS COMING.

On April 19, Bishop Hope Ward is coming to lead worship at all three morning services. Please welcome her warmly.

Annual Fish Fry and Bake Sale:

On April 24th the United Methodist Men will be having their annual Fish Fry from 11:00AM until 7:00PM. The cost for adults is $8, for children under 12, $3.00. Menu: Fish, coleslaw, boiled potatoes and hush-puppies. Take-out and delivery are available. Please place delivery orders in advance to help with scheduling. Lunch delivery orders need to be made by 10:30 Wednesday morning. Contact: Steve Betts at 919-872-9507 or church office at 919-876-5796. Sign-up for volunteers is in lobby. During the Annual Fish Fry the United Methodist Women will be hosting a Bake Sale Come out and support the UMM and the UMW by enjoying amazing fish and yummy delicious treats.

An Alert to Gardeners: Community Garden Garden

Our first garden workday is scheduled for Saturday, April 18 beginning at 9:00 AM. Please come and be a part of this joint project with other faith communities along New Hope Road. Our produce helps feed the hungry in Wake County.
